This event is intended for PhD students or young Post Doc researchers within the fields of quantum information and quantum optics, with the goal to give an overview over the job opportunities to which European young researchers can aim, outside academia. Hence, the invited speakers are former PhD students, that are currently employed in scientific journals editorship, optics hardware development and sale and software developments. During this event we will show how to take advantage of networking, for example social platforms as Linkedin, that are essential for job applications. We will promote the professional development opportunities provided by the optical societies such as OSA to get in touch with people of the same field and have the chance to be updated on the latest job openings.
